The top picture is a view from the outdoor deck of the cabin that we stayed in during our last time at Las Hoyas.  Cool!
The bottom picture is a view from a trail.  Keep in mind that all of these México images were captured with disposable cameras.

Much of the time, when we were not in a local town, gathering field supplies, we stayed in bunk houses on the reserve with limited electricity,
and with no heat or running water.  There was however a bunk house that had a kitchen with running water and a generator that produced
limited electricity.  Much of the Sierra de Manantlan Biosphere Reserve is cloud forest and is therefore very isolated.
