Adjacent to a parking lot along Water Conservation Area 3A

The helicopter pilot took Jeff and I to a tree island that was inaccessible by airboat.  We were looking for Great Egret, Ardea alba, nestling
feathers for mercury analysis.  We only caught four birds but the pilot gave us one wild (but very fun1) ride back to the parking lot.
Note the pontoons on the helicopter which allow a water landing.
