between five species on orioles (Icterus galbula, I. abeillei, I. pustulatus, I. fuertesi, and I. spurious).  Duties included tissue extractions,
DNA purification, DNA replication using polymerase chain reaction (PCR), automated sequencing of the cytochromeb gene and its control
region, and data entry.
